I like to say that interior design chose me
My first career was as a pediatric nurse. In 2002, our family did a large home renovation and I fell in love with the whole design process. Being part of the transformation of our home made such an impact on me that instead of going back to school to upgrade my nursing practice, I enrolled in interior design at BCIT.
One of my professors once said I would find a connection between my former career and interior design and mine was immediately obvious. The reason the transition was so natural for me was that it was always about helping families.
I began my own interior design practice, based in Vancouver, in 2008 and have worn many hats and had a few collaborations since then - always focused on style, design, and functionality.
In 2018 I moved to Victoria and began again with my own business, designing homes that capture the heart of each unique family. I truly believe your home should be a sanctuary, a place to unwind, and bring family and friends together.
I have a great team to draw from, from millworkers and electricians, to a whole construction team. I also have access to trade-only accounts allowing your project to be as unique as we have envisioned.
Reno projects are my favourite and I love being involved from the beginning to the end. I begin with meticulous planning and then follow through every stage of the design process, including adding the final decor touches. My personal aesthetic has always leaned towards classic but I love aspects of contemporary design, and I am always focused on helping you bring out the best in your home.
